End the ‘Nation of Sanctuary’ Policy – Put Welsh People First

Labour and Plaid Cymru have spent £55m putting asylum seekers and refugees ahead of the Welsh people.

Their ‘Nation of Sanctuary’ policy means that taxpayer money, housing, and vital public services are redirected from local communities to fund accommodation and benefits for those arriving from overseas.

This is unfair. A Welsh Government must prioritise the needs and well-being of the people of Wales first and foremost.

It’s time to ensure that housing, healthcare, education, and public services are protected for those who have worked, contributed and call Wales home.
